Tighty Whitey

Today started with an Ironman tradition: The Underwear Run! It started several years ago in Kona as a way for triathletes to mock all those racers who were walking around town (ie at the Post office, at the grocery store)in their speedos. Its also a way to poke a little fun at ourselves. Yours truly was out as Elvis, but minus the suit! We did a short two miles around town, and included some high visible calisthenics by the swim start. Needless to say, we caused much commotion.

Following that, it was back to business. The full swim course was set up today, and I suited up went around once. Its still a little choppy, but I managed fine. My pace seems to be right on.

Today, starting to settle down, carb load, and setup my bike fully. Tomorrow is bike check in!!!
