Welcome To Idaho!

We are finally here! I'm updating this blog while sitting in a comfortable bath robe in front of the view above. Despite the six hours of flying, a one hour delay, and some good turbulence, we made it here in one piece. Kids were relatively great on the plane to boot. So far, we have been nothing but pleased with the hospitality and scenery here in Idaho. The weather takes some getting used too; in the few hours we've been here, its gone from sunshine, to pouring thunderstorm, to sunshine, back to light rain.

The hotel has left nothing to be desired. They even have Fat Tire beer on hand. Yum. Now that's my form of carb loading.

Luckily, all my equipment made it here. Only thing missing is my bike, which I pick up tomorrow. Starting off the day bright and early tomorrow with an easy 30 minute run to loosen up the legs, followed by a 2000 meter swim in the lake. Then we have bike recon in the afternoon. Its when we throw our bikes in the car and drive the entire course and ride the "technical" portions. After that, we have team dinner with Endurance Nation.

Okay, Ive had way to many Fat Tires. Off to bed!

PS: Wish I had pics of the airport baggage claim. It was humerous to see all the shaved legs waiting for bags and bikes.
